Caregivers Needed for Evenings, Weekends, Overnights

Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services in Boerne, Comfort, Blanco, Marble Falls, TX is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. We have openings for evenings, weekends, and overnights on a PRN-as needed basis. The ideal candidates will have a passion for helping others and providing quality care to seniors in their own homes.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a PRN as needed, hourly position for in-home care. Shifts are available based on client census and skill set. Pay varies based on experience and skills, pay ranges from $12 to $15 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Weekend help and On-Call shifts are always needed.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if needed
• Escort clients to appointments and assist with transportation as needed
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks as needed
• Communicate regularly with office staff and maintain proper documentation of client care
• Provide emotional support and promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and active auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Willingness to complete required training and continuing education courses
